Return Policy Information
Navigating the Returns Portal
PLEASE NOTE:
Follow the steps below to complete your return
- Visit our returns portal here
- Enter your order ID and postal code/zip code to retrieve your order information. Note: Return requests are only accepted within 30 days of the shipping date.
- Select the item(s) you would like to return and your reasoning.
- Choose between store credit OR a refund. Please note a $8 postage fee will be deducted if you choose to refund your item(s).
Once complete, a return confirmation email will be sent to the email used to place the order.
From here there are two ways to return your package:
Print at Home
- Print the shipping label provided and affix the label to the outside of your package
- Drop off your package at the nearest Canada Post/ USPS location. Please have your package postmarked and mailed within 14 days of receiving your shipping label.
QR code
Bring the QR code provided in your return confirmation email to any Canada Post/ USPS location and the agent will scan and process your package.
Once we have received your package, we will process the refund or store credit within 10-14 business days. As soon as your return is complete, you will receive an refund confirmation

Regular Priced Items
Save the return postage fee by choosing a store credit to receive your full refund in the form of a gift card! Alternatively, refunds can be processed to the original form of payment with a deduction of $8 for postage/ handing.
Prefer a different size or color? We are pleased to offer Instant Exchanges! Log in to our return portal to start your return or exchange now.
All items must be unworn, unwashed, and have original tags attached to be accepted for a return. Please note that bodysuits are not eligible for return.
Sale Items
Items marked at 30% off or more are final sale and will not be accepted for a refund and store credit unless otherwise stated. Items purchased with a discount less than 30% can be returned following our regular merchandise policy.
Instant Exchanges vs Standard Exchanges
INSTANT EXCHANGES
By selecting INSTANT EXCHANGES you don't have to wait for your new items to be processed!
Your credit card will be pre-authorized (this will show as a pending charge) for the value of the items you are returning. Once your item has been dropped off at the post office and is in transit (within 14 days of starting your exchange) the charge will disappear from your statement. It will not show up as a refund, it will simply not become an actual charge.
STANDARD EXCHANGES
Your new exchange order will be processed as soon as your original item is in-transit to our warehouse.
Please note that as the desired item is not processed until you drop your item off at the carrier. This could result in the item being sold out. In this scenario, you will receive an email notification and your exchange will be converted to a return for refund.
Tips and Reminders
- Once we receive your return the refund or store credit will be processed within 10-14 business days. You will receive an email confirmation once it has been completed.
- Received a damaged item? Give us a call or email us at shop@gentlefawn.com and we are happy to help
- All shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Returned items that are damaged, worn, missing tags or have an odor will not be accepted. Our customer care team will reach out to you with next steps
- Style Rewards points are non-refundable and will not be returned to your account.
- "Gift with purchase" items are eligible for returns. Both the purchased product and free gift must be returned in order to receive a full refund.
