Product and Operations Associate (12 month maternity leave contract)

As a Product Operations Associate, you'll be at the center of keeping our operation running smoothly, maintaining inventory accuracy across every system and worksheet, making smart decisions about product placement and warehouse space, and serving as a go-to support for our product and operations teams.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Keep Joor line sheets current; managing updates, archives, new style creation, and cancellations across Joor and BR
  • Build and maintain ATS line sheets weekly throughout selling season
  • Partner with marketing and sales to vet sales materials and support seasonal launches
  • Execute close-out orders, & damage donations at the warehouse level
  • Generate key reports: ie) inbound inventory variance and e-commerce inventory
  • Maintain sales rep trackers and seasonal merch plans, keeping all systems up to date
  • Manage all inventory pulls – ie) GWPs, relabeling, POP, stock transfers, & marketing orders
  • Lead Prospect Kit building and shipping from start to finish
  • Oversee warehouse storage.  Ensure timely pulls from cartons to minimize long-term storage fees
  • Create, update and communicate to external vendors all seasonal sample P.Os
  • Assist with SMS sample management from X Factory to Sales Reps
  • Support with production TOP receiving and sorting
  • Coordinate and manage sample sales, including third party sample selling to companies
  • Oversee donation of excess stock to charity partners
  • Manage all artwork approvals for UPC, Hangtags and Care labels
  • Create seasonal production documents, ie) label/hangtag, bulk care label, & TOP tracker
  • Support with arranging & sending packages to Major accounts for Private Label Development
  • Support with receiving, organizing, & purging Development samples
  • Create seasonal merch plan and maintain system with all updates
  • Assist the product and operations teams with projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • MS Office, proficient in MS Excel
  • Experience in Product & Apparel is an asset
  • Clear, professional communicator across internal and external teams
  • Dependable team player with cross-functional savvy
  • Organized, deadline-driven, and a master of prioritization
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, quick to assess risk and pivot with the business

Female Fit Model (size S)

Gentle Fawn is looking for a Female Fit model. This is a part time casual position, and the hours depend on the time of year. Hours must be FLEXIBLE and available during business hours 9:30am-5pm, Tuesday-Friday. Fit sessions usually last from 3-7 hours as needed.

This position requires you to provide feedback on fit, comfort and movement to assist our Designers and Product Developers in developing well-fitting styles that are appropriate for our customers.

Please note there is NO catalogue or print work involved with this position.

Ideal Candidate

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time while maintaining good posture
  • Must be comfortable with fitting garments in front of a group of people.
  • Commenting on fit of garment from a customer’s point of view of comfort
  • Available for flexible working hours

Measurement of Requirements:

  • Standard Size 4 (Small)
