Our History

Danny and Carla Hogg launched Gentle Fawn in 2003 with the intention of bringing effortlessly stylish pieces to the everyday woman. Carla, our original muse and now CEO, continues to try on, wear test, and approve every piece to create collections you can feel good in. Together, Danny and Carla's focus on quality materials, effortless fits, and dedication to our customers has grown Gentle Fawn into the brand it is today.

Our collections focus on soft fabrics, feminine silhouettes, and versatile pieces designed for repeat wear, making them ideal for work, travel and everyday wardrobes. Every piece is made with women in mind, to ensure you feel confident, every day.

As a women-led business, we dedicate our support to initiatives paving the way for women and girls to succeed. Proceeds from our sales have supported organizations close to our hearts such as Plan International, One Girl Can, and Mamas for Mamas. We take pride in aligning with organizations that work to uplift and provide for women and girls across career development, health, and economic advancement.

Fabrics and Materials

All products are designed without the use of wool, fur, angora, mohair, silk or leather as we believe in being kind to everyone, including our furry friends.

In an effort to reduce the environmental impacts of fabric processing and manufacturing, low-impact fabrics have been introduced into our collections.

Giving Back

Operations

We recognize our responsibility to identify operational improvements and processes aimed at reducing our environmental impact. All e-commerce mailing bags are made from plant-based materials and are disposable in home composts. Our garments are packaged in biodegradable poly bags, reducing the time these plastics spend in landfills. Additionally, 100% of our hangtags are made from recycled fibres.
